We spent 5 days in Utah and Idaho testing This Jacket on a 2023 EC300 with good results. Conditions were- Deep powder, we had snow fall amost ever night and riding conditions were awesome. Snow wasn’t to deep but we would hit fresh POW POW Every day. -5° to 45° (BIKE SET UP) We threw on a SX120 with TSS Shock with the updated front ski, C3 Power Sports Engine Coolant Heated Bars With C3 Thermostat and Trail Tech Temperature Meter. We cut out the bottom of air box and ran a per filter only on The Cage, Front Forks were re-valved and sprung By Brockstar Performance. Alright with this set up we had no Runnability Issues No Sputtering or Coughing no stopping to Clean out air box, just ride until you’re out Of fuel. We did make sure to warm the motor up over 100° before we started ripping everytime. On the trail we would see temps of 180° if we were Moving Slow. If we were moving out on the trail we would set around 165° The whole time in the powder we Pretty much Sat at 140° which was plenty of heat for the Heated bars to keep your hands warm.
With this kit you will want to start with the air scoop bolts, slide the jackets under the air scoop and line up the per cut hole then get the 8mm bolts started by hand. Then start at the top of the frame behind the motor. Work your way down and around to the front of the motor, I do not Tighten the zip ties all the way until I’m sure my placement is right.
